Phase 1 Reopening

In compliance with Governor Brown's Phase 1 plan, we will be re-opening June 9th. This re-opening will be limited to 25 students/spectators per class, and we will continue doing the online school for those members who wish to do so (class times will not change). The new in-person class schedule will be as follows:

AT THE STUDIO IN-PERSON : Tuesday and Thursday 

4-4:45pm: White Belt - Blue Stripe
5-5:45pm: Blue Belt - Black Stripe
6-7:00pm: Black Belt 

ONLINE CLASSES: Tuesday and Thursday
5-5:45pm: White Belt - Blue Stripe
6-6:45pm: Blue Belt - Black Belt

Re-Opening of the Forest Grove School 

Uniform: Students will be required to wear their uniform into the dojang. Students will not be able to change in the changing rooms. Changing rooms are restricted. Students will be allowed to wear t-shirts, belt and pants. Students will not be required to wear their uniform top as the weather is getting hotter.

Masks: Wearing a protective mask is optional. We are not requiring masks but students may wear one if they would like too. 

Spectators: Spectators will be allowed in the dojang if we are under maximum capacity. Chairs will be cleaned after each class. If you would like to be a spectator, please include that in the "Feedback Form" above. 

How to Arrive and Leave the Dojang:
4-4:45 Class:  Students may enter upon arrival. Upon entrance, students will be required to clean their hands with hand sanitizer. Upon conclusion, students will be required to exit the dojang. If parents/guardians are picking up students, please be present in the parking lot. 
5-5:45 Class: Students must wait outside the dojang until an instructor allows students to enter. We would prefer you to wait in your car if driving. Upon entrance, students will be required to clean their hands with hand sanitizer. Upon conclusion, students will be required to exit the dojang. If parents/guardians are picking up students, please be present in the parking lot. 
6-7:00 Class:  Students must wait outside the dojang until an instructor allows students to enter. We would prefer you to wait in your car if driving. Upon entrance, students will be required to clean their hands with hand sanitizer. Upon conclusion, students will be required to exit the dojang. If parents/guardians are picking up students, please be present in the parking lot. 

Social Distancing: Students will be required to be spaced apart six feet or greater. Students will not be allowed to closely congregate. We will not be shaking hands or performing close contact. 

Water: You will be required to bring and remove your own water bottle each class. The drinking fountain will be restricted. 

Bathroom: Please go to the bathroom prior to arriving to class. The bathroom will be open but we strongly encourage you to limit bathroom usage. 

Cleaning: We will clean the dojang (bathroom, floors, high frequency touched surfaces) between each class. Our number one priority is your safety. ~
